Tour Edge Bazooka Geo Max Fairway Wood Review

The little brother to the long driver!

The Tour Edge Bazooka Geo Max fairway woods is the latest in the long line of Bazooka lined clubs from Tour Edge. It's standard head size is designed to provide the most forgiveness possible without going to the extreme shapes that a lot of companies are going to. Some of the fairway woods out there today look like the driver I used to hit just a few years ago!

The Tour Edge Bazooka Geo Max fairway wood features a head with a very deep and low center of gravity with a shallow face aided by a 25 gram tungsten weight which helps get the ball airborne for the average player. The Geo Max also features a hot Carpenter Steel face that will give you some length to be able to go for the par fives in two! The club face is also very light which aids the designers by allowing for more weight to be moved to the perimeter of the club for forgiveness.

This club is flat out a beast! I loved hitting it and almost put one in my bag if I were able to work it a little better. It simply wants to go high and straight! That is exactly what it is designed to do and it does it very, very well! I was able to move the ball a little with it, but really this thing is just for hitting flat out bombs! The shaft and club head match up very, very well and the average player with an average swing speed will have no problem squaring the club face up.

If you are looking for a new fairway wood for 2020, I would check this bad boy out, and while you are at it, check out the driver, irons, putters and hybrids as well, they compliment each other perfectly! Not only are they very easy to use, but very economical with a lot of technology for about half as much as some of the larger companies would charge for the same style clubs!
