Let’s start at the beginning, the very basics, what is a bot? A bot is pretty much a robot, it can help you cheat the system. Bots are perfect if you want to increase your money or your skills.

Runescape has a distinct history of botting, and its developer Jagex has an almost constantly losing battle against players and their conniving tricks. This came to fruition in October 2011, When Jagex released an anti-bot systemnicknamed the ‘ClusterFlutterer’, it was estimated to have banned around a whopping 7.7 million accounts. Nicknamed the “Bot Nuke” it is estimated to have banned 98% of the accounts that were using bots.

It’s not all tears however if you’re caught using a bot. From 26 September 2012 accounts that are banned for using bots have their punishment decided by players. This takes place in a special isolated area named “Botany Bay”

Using bots in 2020 isn’t without its pitfalls, however. One warning I must add is that occasionally Bots will lead to your account being suspended. Using a bot or a 3rd party software to take advantage is a penalty offence for Jagex and will have your account banned.

However, more than likely your use of bots will simply slip under their radar… you should be okay, especially if you make sure you purchase the best bots for the job.

Another way around this, however, could be using a proxy. Jagex, the developer behind Runescape, can identify your specific IP address to one consistently using bots. Although you’ll be making huge progress in your world, it could all be to waste if your IP address is banned from servers, leaving you high and dry. A way around this could be to use a proxy, scrambling your IP address, this should hopefully leave you safe from the interfering hands of admins and Jagex.

Another way to get yourself around bannings from Jagex would be using paid versions of bot repositories and a VPN to decrease your account ban rate. This is a pretty safe way to stop yourself constantly being on Jagex’s naughty list.

Anyway, past all the warnings… so what can bots help you do?

You name it, there’s a bot for it. From Agility to Combat, to even Woodcutting, if you want to better yourself, then you should definitely use a bot.

Not only that, but botting can also make you a very wealthy person, online of course. Some players I’ve spoken to have made hundreds of thousands of valuable currency per month on the platform. That’s no better reason to start using a bot.

Best Bots To Use In 2020, In No Particular Order

1. DreamBot

Description: Dreambot promises to be the most anti ban oriented bot on the market. It runs on most systems including Windows, Mac and Lynx and set up and running takes less than three minutes. What makes DreamBot particularly special is the community surrounding it. Whether it be from the staff at DreamBot or its users itself, if you’ve got a question. They help the whole platform run smoothly and they have the most active developers in comparison to other bot platforms.

Description: I’m a big fan of Tribot’s platform. it’s pretty easy to use. What makes Tribot pretty cool, is the human-esque features. As in… the bot behaves as a normal person would. This makes it almost impossible for Jagex to catch you sneakily using a bot. Tribots system acts like a human, avoiding conspicuous activities that will indicate wrong-doings to the admins. For example, unlike bots that are always performing (ones that are going to get caught out) Tribot allows you to have your bot work sequentially.

Tribot is also unique in using Human mouse movements and Human point selection. This clever system Utilizes mouse movements generated from humans to further make them more human-like. What’s more, Tribot’s bots use research-backed algorithms to click around like a human does, fooling the moderators that its a human sat behind the bot.

This is a pretty good platform to start with, being completely free it’s a great way to dip your toe into the world of bots.
